Really Cool Site for CX-4 Information
Well, what can I tell you about the CX-4 that you do not already know. If you are thinking about buying this carbine - just do it. I purchased my 9mm for $500.00 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I think I have taken more pictures of it than I have put rounds through the barrel. This must be the most photogenic firearm I have ever seen. It is also a lot of fun to accessorize it, but I am careful not to go over the top with that. For example, the bi-pod looks really cool, and is amazing when shooting at 80' or more, but it is very heavy and I do not keep it on the firearm. As you can see in the pictures, I put a little $35 NC-Star red-dot on it and find that more than enough. It holds it center and at about 60', I keep all my rounds within 3 to 4" standing shooting. The nice thing about this scope is that you can co-witness beautifully. Now, there are much nicer, better and thus more expensive scopes out there like the Eotech etc. but I find this one to be just fine for the amount of shooting that I do.
At one point I had the push-to-activate laser on the extendable bottom rail, but it was not very accurate and annoyed me when it did not shine where the scope's red dot was.
